Native Wisdom was shot in southeast Arizona
on the Tohono O'odham reservation in southeast Arizona and Mexico. It had
the full cooperation of The Tohono O’odham tribal government and
its people and the U.S. Customs Aviation unit at Davis Monthan Air Force
Base in Tucson. This project was selected and honored at many film festivals,
allowing people from all walks of life to participate in the director’s
vision and experience a culturally rich and beautiful story.
The aerials for this project were filmed in
35mm in June of 2000 and the remaining footage was shot in Digi-Beta
format in October 2001. Total Running Time (TRT) is 17:45. VHS tapes
